WAAM aims to be a creative think tank and a shared professional
knowledge base for its members. By pooling and capturing information
from the WAAM community for our Resource Library, we hope to centralize
this shared knowledge for WAAMers' easy access. For the present
time, the WAAM Resource Library will be hosted at WAAM Founder Janet
Si-Ming Lee's apartment. This knowledge base will house books
and magazines on website development, e-commerce, entrepreneurship,
design, technology, and advertising. Please check the WAAM
e-groups website for the books currently housed in our WAAM Resource
Library.
As part of our mission to centralize the existing knowledge base
for the WAAM community, we will be offering professional development
workshops and technical training to Wellesley and MIT alumni. Check
our What's New page and our WAAM
e-groups website for more information on upcoming workshops.
Ultimately, the knowledge base will be composed exclusively of content aggregated
from WAAM professional development workshops, guest presentations,
and technical training sessions.
If you would like to request a topic for our next
training session or have information on potential guest speakers, please
contact Janet Si-Ming Lee '98.
