<WAAM Think Tank>

Are you interested in creating experimental multimedia-related work in photography, computer animation, filmmaking, cd-rom publishing, interactive design, kinetic sculpture, or programming? Do you enjoy tinkering with new technology? Are you a fine artist or a designer who would appreciate an opportunity to meet other creative individuals and brainstorm new project ideas, or get feedback on your independent work? Does the concept of pushing the envelope of new media expression excite you? Or maybe you're not into technology or multimedia-- Instead, maybe you have a great idea for a community service project and are seeking project partners to collaborate with and realize that dream. Or maybe you enjoy creative writing and would like to explore the idea of collaborating on a digital, interactive photo-essay about your world travels...

Well, in that case, WAAM might be the organization for you! Join WAAM and attend our monthly events to meet other enterprising individuals for potential project collaboration or to gain inspiration, feedback and support from peers on your independent projects.

WAAM (Wellesley Alumnae and Affiliates in Multimedia) is a social network of alumni from Wellesley College and our academically-affiliated institution MIT. It is our vision to foster innovative project collaboration between MIT and Wellesley and independent experimentation in new media. WAAM aims to be a creative "think tank"-- an incubator of new ideas, a playground for the mind and imagination. We seek to inspire, strengthen and promote the creative accomplishments of our alumni.
