This site will reside on the Atlas Hosting server with the current Magner website, www.magner.com. Kristen Taylor will maintain this website.

Purpose and Goals

The purpose of this site will be to provide Magner's dealers with a comprehensive source of information. The site will include brochures, service and instruction (user) manuals, service and sales training schedules, wholesale pricing list and changes, a calendar for the sales and service training as well as trade show schedules and information (for the trade shows that Magner is participating in), an order form, and a comment form. This will allow dealers to easily place orders and access important information about the machines they sell. It will also allow Magner to get feedback from the dealers via the comment form. In addition, the dealers will be able to keep up to date on all current training sessions available as well as be aware of important trade shows that Magner is participating in.

Intended Audience

The dealers for Magner are the intended audience of the site. Since the site will be password protected, there will be no other users. The password protection will help to keep the general public from accessing confidential information, such as the wholesale price list. The website will provide the dealers with resources for the machines that they sell and give them easier access to information. It will also facilitate easier ordering.

Content and Organization

The site will contain all the information discussed above. The navigational structure of the site will start with a login page. It will then proceed to a welcome page with any important announcements as well as links to the following informational pages:

All the brochures as well as the service and instruction (user) manuals will be in PDF format. The order form and the comment form will both just be forms that send an e-mail to someone at Magner. There will not be any sensitive information, such as credit card numbers, in the forms. At this point, we would like to have a list of links on each main page so that each main page will be connected to all the other main pages, but we don't want to use frames. When trade shows are listed on the calendar, we would like to link that to a page with the pertinent information about the show. We would like to do the same thing for sales and service trainings.
