Project brief: Reinventing Superheroes
A superhero has extraordinary or superhuman powers and is often dedicated to protecting the public. Superheroes posses a broad range of powers: enhanced senses, the ability to fly, invisibility, the ability to reshape their bodies and more. Some superheroes also have special equipment or technology that imitate superpowers.
Superheroes costumes are often used to conceal the secret identity of the superhero as well as to provide protective qualities and accommodate the powers of their owner. When designing outfits for the superhero community Edna “E” Mode not only takes the aesthetics of the outfit into account but also their functional uses to enhance the powers of the wearer.
Can we use technology to create outfits that provide their wearer with superpowers? Can we help humans transform into superheroes?
