project brief:

The Wellesley College Davis Museum is a hub of artistic and cultural opportunity, granting community members firsthand access to world-class art and innovation. However, despite its offerings, museum attendance is surprisingly low.

After further investigation into the matter, we set to developing the Davis Attract: a multi-touch interface employing tangible and embedded interactions to enhance the museum experience. We hypothesized potential benefits for personal and social engagement within the museum.

Over the course of the past semester, we realized a functional prototype for Dr. Orit Shaer's class on Tangible User Interfaces. We envision, with further testing and development iterations, implementation of our application in the Davis Museum in actuality.
