attraction:

Currently nothing is displayed on the initial screen but an empty workspace. The initial screen would ideal have some kind of "attract mode", convincing visitors entering the museum lobby to interact with it.
tangible input:

When a Course, Tour, or Exhibit Item is put on the surface, photographs in each category appear in a scatter view under the tagged item. Visitors can enlarge and contract the size of the images to become excited by the pieces (we have found that manipulating images in such a novel way is fun for users and inherently excites them about the content of the images.) Clicking on the images flips them over to give a tombstone overview of the pieces.
interactivity:

View of the surface when a user places more than one object at a time. Users can explore multiple objects simultaneously.
customization:

Once the visitor has decided which pieces they want to see in the museum, they are able to drag the images with their fingers into the "tour deck" on the lower left hand corner of the workspace. The order of the items in the tour deck rearrange according to the most convenient order of travel between them. The user can tap the items in the tour deck to navigate through them, and when they decide they want to remove an item they can drag it out of the tour deck and back onto the workspace.
contextualization:

The user can browse the floors on the museum and reference the location of the items represented by thumbnails on the map.
tangible output:

When the user is completely satisfied they may place the figurine of the item on the surface, which prints out a map of the items of interest.
