About

Hello! My name is Meckila and I am a sophomore Computer Science major at Wellesley College. With a heavy workload, I often need to relax. One of my favorite things to do is enjoy the greenery around campus, whether it be by the lake or at the greenhouses. I thought I'd share some of my favorite places with you!

Greenhouse Rooms

According to the Wellesley College website, there are sixteen interconnected greenhouses totaling 7200 feet. The flora and fauna in the greenhouses come from all over the world. I typically enjoy sitting in the bench in the Tropical House doing my homework. Check out some the houses below!

Topiary Bushes

Though not technically owned by the College, the topiary bushes owned by the Walter Hunnewell Arboretum are near Lake Waban. I love their shapes and they are quite large when seen in person!
