The Scream

When you walk in front of it and break the light beam, out comes the famous Wilhelm scream! We found the picture here: http://www.brothers-brick.com/2007/03/03/fine-art-legod/. We used the Scratchboard because unlike the PicoCricket it can use imported sounds- the closest we could come to a scream in the PicoBlocks program was a horse's whinny set to a high frequency. Below is a picture of our modified Scratchboard. The cardboad and the red LEGO are to block out ambient light, and the gum wrapper is to help us aim the LED beam- the sensor itself was so small that we could not see a reflection when the beam hit it like we could for the PicoCricket light sensors.
