Welcome to my site!
I am a senior at Wellesley College,
majoring in Computer Science with concentration in
Human-Computer Interaction. As a passionate student, dedicated to creativity and innovation,
I seek to design and develop computational systems that enhance the user experience through
natural tangible and embedded interaction.
I work with my advisor, Dr. Orit Shaer
in her HCI laboratory here at Wellesley. Our work
is focused on developing reality-based, fluid bioinformatics UIs to better support scientific discovery.
I currently lead a research team of four students in the preparation of our Surface application,
the G-nome Surfer, for real-time use by the
neuroscience course: Neurons, Networks, and Behavior
and the Sequeira
laboratory in the coming fall.
In addition to my research, I am a busy student, active teammate, and
problem-solver of computing woes at the College's
Computing Help Desk. Check out my
research page to learn more about the G-nome Surfer and past projects, my
blog for current news and activities, and see my resume page
for a full CV and transcript.
