From Project Milestone 6 to Project Milestone 5, information was added about the connection to user tips for online/mobile banking and safety in general. We added two videos that we watched in class for our website viewers to better understand that their information is vulnerable if they aren’t on trusted WiFi and if they input their information on a website that is not secure. This is important for people to know what websites to trust and networks to use when inputting sensitive information. Still, banks encrypt the information on their own websites because they do not want to jeopardize their customers. This can apply to other information aside from banking, which is important information to know in general. We also added an additional link about the interactions small businesses have with mobile banking and payment platforms, especially regarding Square. There was an additional subheading under the Mobile Banking link, which is now called Mobile Payment Apps. The Trust in Banking link was also edited in order to give a more holistic view of the effects that general risks in banking have had on people when banking through online or mobile means, even though it just as secure as a brick and mortar bank. Additionally, we changed our video’s script, and we added several more paragraphs to make our website more comprehensive.
