Each of these projects has distinguished itself in one or more aspects.
They are not perfect, but they exemplify the student(s)' commitment to producing an inspiring
and informative website.
Spring 2021 Term 4 Projects
In Spring 2021 Term 4, students worked individually to research a topic and build a website.

- Maria Ressa and her fight
for the freedom of the press. A project by Maria Chi-Chable '23.
This project distinguished itself for the detailed and extensive research,
for its focus on elevating a woman from the Global South, and its elegant and
well-executed layout.

Online News and Gender Equality. A project by Vicky Xu '24.
This project distinguished itself for its focus on an important issue, its
use of graphics and other interactive elements, and the careful documenting of
research findings using synthesis.
- YouTube Limiting News: Algorithm, Monetization, View, Oh My!.
A project by Shayla Zamora '23. This project distinguished itself for its original
take on the topic, the layout of the website, and the attention to details in
many aspects of the interface.

The World of Content Moderation Outsourcing.
A project by Malika Top '24. This project distinguished itself for its very
original and dynamic images that captured very well the website topic, as well
as its focus on a well-hidden secret of online platforms.
Fall 2019 Projects

distinguished itself for the use of
tweets as stylistic elements, and a Javascript quiz about echo chambers.

creative styling and the very thoughtful and well-cited research.
