Turn in your lab work (electronically)

You should each have an account on Gradescope to submit your labs (and your assignments).

DISCLAIMER: The description below is for submitting work as a pair. Feel free for the 0-th lab to each submit your own code for practice.

Since you work in pairs in lab, according to the pair programming model, you will submit only one submission per pair.

One of the partners in the pair will upload the files to Gradescope. Within Gradescope they will specify the name of the other partner. Please see more details on submitting to Gradescope below.

Gradescope submission: Detailed Instructions

  • Log in to Gradescope.
  • For each lab, select that lab and click on the Upload Submission button. You should see this:

Now browse to select the files to upload. Make sure to include the java source files for all the tasks and any test transcripts you worked on.

  • When the files are uploaded, you will see a display similar to this (assuming Scott Anderson was the student submitting the files): Image of group submission
  • Recall that, since you're working in pairs in labs, only one of the partners in the group should upload the files. Select the View or edit group link and click on the Add button to add your partner's name to the group. After adding a student, you would see their name under "Group Members". For example, supposing the student Scott Anderson added Jean Her, we would see the following: Image of group members
