• Then, I'll make pairs for the ER assignment and mail those out soon

Team and Group Work¶

Good teams often require establishing good norms of behavior, so that all members feel valued and included. Here are some norms to consider:

• Everyone has something to contribute.
• Speak with the expectation of being heard.
• Listen with the expectation of learning.
• Everyone gets a chance to speak without interruption

• I think it's only fair to allow you to choose whether you want to be a part of the pair assignments.
• I'm also asking for pair-programming norms.
• So, I'm sending out a two-questionnaire
• Please fill it out ASAP

Please talk to your classmates and start forming teams.

Note: I am flexible about deadlines, but I can't create more semester. You'll want your team formed, and your proposal (P1) and design and plan (P2) submitted by spring break, and that's a month away:

• P1 on 2/23, next Wednesday
• P2 on 3/09, two weeks later
• 3/16, last day before spring break
