Mail doesn't seem like a difficult thing, and it's mostly not, but it is somewhat perilous.
In this reading, we'll talk briefly about the perils of email and then I'll refer you to online tutorials about Flask mail.
Perils of Mail¶
Most of you have heard about spam
mail (Email
spam), as well as phishing
attacks and the like. All of them arise in part because of the lack of
authentication and authorization required by the standard email
protocols.
When adding email features to your web app, think about how they might be exploited. You don't want your app to be an open mail relay or otherwise be abused.
