There once was a man named Ben Wood,
who liked puns as everyone should;
the one in his name
helped foreshadow his fame
making syntax trees well-understood.
When his students had questions (fine-grained),
about branches he quickly explained,
that test cases numerous
especially if humorous
make debugging much less of a pain.
Ben’s research log puts us to shame,
and Ben’s teaching has earned him acclaim,
but the admins still wondered
if in hiring they’d blundered:
every room was reserved in his name!
Greener forests are clearly ahead,
for our colleague wherever he’s led;
first a bicycle trip
then perhaps on a ship?
I hear fishing is stuck in his head.
