the wall-follower has been by far our greatest challenge. It has also been the most fun. And it is the only the beginning to out fire-fighting robot. Those lights seen in the picture are infared lights that can only be seen by the digital camera. We use infared sensors to guide our robot through the maze. We hope to enter this robot into a competition at trinity college

Sparky was once a speedy mobile. His initial performances left us very hopeful. However we tried to improve him.

We never did get the old sparky back. Sparky crumbled just as his name does above. Don't change a good thing....

Gee, i don't know where the lovely photo of dancing crickets went. They sure could boogie down though.

When working with crickets, make sure they are facing eachother the right way!!!

I love me some fine diaganol cross bracing. This bad boy laughed at the thought of being destroyed by a mere 2 meter fall. Just above are two small models that were made before the performance box. This box held two weighted bricks.
