This was the culmination of three weeks of work in an intensive Wintersession course at Wellesley College, called Robotics Design Studio. We originally had the idea of doing a beetle who carries Beatles, but that was scraped early on for the idea of a bus that would pick up and drop-off passengers. The bus quickly became a model/parody of Wellesley's own Senate Bus. Our robotic Senate Bus has two drivers, that are randomly assigned (you never can tell which you are going to ride with!) One is a more calm, steady, "sober" driver. The other is the more reckless, "drunk driver." With each wild ride, Wellesley students get flung off the bus into the most popular Cambridge locations: MIT & Harvard.
