Although you're adding your blog posts to your digital portfolio as distinct webpages, your three formal writing assignments for Living in the Age of the Antiherowill be added as PDFs. PDFs can be linked to your digital portfolio just like your blog posts are - if you save the documents into your "writ135" folder, or into any folder within that folder, you can link them with tags.
Creating PDFs is fairly straightfoward; you can do it from Microsoft Word, where you'll likely be writing the essays. Watch the video below demonstrating how to export a Word document as a PDF.
After hitting "File" --> "Save As", just change the File Format to "PDF". Your PDF will then be ready to add using a link to your portfolio. Below is an example of such a link (to the course syllabus):

This is a link to the course syllabus: Click to view!

Launch the same link: This is a link to the course syllabus: Click to view!
At this point in the course, you will have written and submitted your first paper, a Literary-Visual Analysis. For this assignment, you should open your paper in Microsoft Word, convert it into a PDF, save the PDF somewhere in your "writ135" folder, and add a link to the PDF in your digital portfolio. If you haven't already, you should also estabish an inital division layout for you website. Using
elements, lists, tables, etc., you should separate the links to blog posts from the new PDF link; as you add more blog posts and PDFs to your portfolio, this separation will become more important. Consider using images as links rather than text to add interest to your portfolio.
When you finish, upload your "writ135" folder to your server account using Cyberduck. Because a "writ135" folder already exists, you can either delete the old folder and upload the entirely of your updated "writ135" folder, or open the folder, delete its contents, then add all the new/updated docuemnts to the server. As always, send me an email when all new content has been uploaded.
From now on, you should always convert your finished writing assignments into PDFs and link them to your digital portfolio.
Congratulations! You're done!
