I suppose that once we decided what we wanted Concetta to do, an elevator was the means of transportation we wanted to have her use to go up and down (rather than an amusement park/mountain aircar on cable-type tracks kind of module)..

This was one of our original attempts at building such an elevator (Cynara was advised to discontinue this, as it was plain to see that it would not "work"):

We decided to keep the ideas of using a reel as a winch and a pulley for added strength, but used a wooden board instead for mounting...
