Scenarios:

Scenario for Varsity Sports player
Gabby is a varsity soccer player at Wellesley College. In the off-season, her coach provides her with a workout packet that outlines what she should be doing every day to be ready for preseason. Logging into TeamFIT, she consults the goals of the week and selects the tasks she'll complete for today's workout. She likes knowing how long each exercise will take her in order to plan whether she'll go play pickup, or have to budget time to drive to the gym. On her way to run, she's feeling a little unmotivated, and wonders if the rest of her team is even completing their workouts today. She checks out the leaderboard and sees that Fran, Kyla, and Alysha already completed their workouts, and this makes Gabby much more motivated to complete hers. After a great workout, she logs her completed tasks and rates how she's feeling about the workout. After submitting her log for the day, she checks out her stats and notices that she's completed 100% of her goal for the week, and she feels proud of herself. She rewards herself on the way home with an ice cream cone.

Scenario for Coach
Katrina is a coach of the Volleyball team. She wants her team to do regular workouts outside of practice and wants the players to hold each other accountable. She used to just send out emails but they did not motivate her players and it was hard to keep track of who was working out and how much. She heard about Greatest from one of her fellow coaches and downloaded the application. She then created a new team with herself as the administrator/coach and invited all her players to join the team. From the on, Katrina could post workout goals for the whole team and then see how much each player was contributing towards that goal. She also found the "leaderboard" and individual statistics very motivating for her players who all wanted to do well. Katrina tells her players if they don't complete the workout goals they have to run laps after practice. Katrina is a tough coach. She sets the workout goals once a week and periodically checks the leaderboard to how everyone is doing. After learning this information, Katrina exits the app.

Scenario for Recreational/social sports team/player
Winifred is a pickup basketball player. She likes to stay active and fit. However, she sometimes has a hard time motivating herself to workout outside of playing pickup basketball. She used a Google spreadsheets so that people can log in their workouts and also motivate others in the group to workout. However, her plans using the Google spreadsheet did not work as well as she expected. One of her friends who plays pickup basketball in another part town introduced her to a new app called the Greatest. Because of her friend's favorable review, she downloaded the application and created a team for her pickup basketball team. She became the goal setter for the team. Winifred posts different workout tasks for the entire team to follow.
Today is Wednesday morning, Winifred gets ready to go outside and workout seeing that the weather is lovely. She takes out her phone to check what kind of workout task she should do for today. She checks the tasks completed by some of her teammates. She sees that because of the good weather recently many of her teammates completed the outdoor plyometrics cardio workout. She decides to completed the same workout task and completes the exercises. After finishing her workout, she goes back to the Greatest app and logs in her exercises and evaluates her mood when she was completing her workout. She logs in a refreshing, happy mood. After she logged in her exercises, she is able to view her individual progress and see that she has gained several points. Also she checks the team progress to compare how she is doing with the rest of her teammates. She sees that she has been contributing about 5% of all the workouts completed among 20 people. She sees that her teammates are contributing to the team progress fairly equally. Being able to see how each individual in the group is contributing to team fitness motivates Winifred to keep up her individual goals. After checking the team progress, she exits out of the app.
