Wrap up Week 7

  • Do Tutorial 1 about D3.js.
  • Do Tutorial 2 about D3.js.
  • Reflection Post Nr. 1: Reflect on a visualization. Read instructions.
  • Reflection Post Nr. 2: Final reflection post on AM4. Please address the following questions:
    1. Given that you had the choice to work on one aspect that you wanted to become stronger, do you feel that you achieved that goal? Explain.
    2. Given that later on in the semester there will be a group project (which will have similarities in structure to AM4), what do you think a CS249 team should do to be successful in the project? What pitfalls should be avoided? What good practices should be cultivated?
    3. Was it worth it taking the "red pill"?

    1. Summarize in one paragraph the new things you learned in the lecture or something that surprised you.
    2. Summarize in one paragraph the connections you see between what we have been doing so far this semester and what you learned in this lecture.
